The Filler Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines. The Filler Operator will also be responsible for inspecting parts to specifications and making adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operating the CIP and COP systems.
Ensure the safety and operation of the filler
Responsible for startup and shutdown of the filler.
Operation of the Ionizer
Maintaining accurate written production records
Performing laboratory tests and monitoring weight control of products.
Responsible for the operation and compliance of the tap tone/x-ray
Responsible for seam scope compliance checks
Maintaining sanitary equipment and environment for the filling area
Maintain PM Schedule
Cleaning the environment of the filing room
Disassembling and reassembling filler and associated equipment for cleaning
Troubleshooting filler maintenance and issues and making repairs
High School Diploma or GED preferred. 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training.
Must have a mechanical aptitude and demonstrate abilities. Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Experience within the food and beverage industry is preferred.
Must be able to stand, walk, push or pull for virtually the entire shift. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally including overhead.
Must be able to work in a wet environment. Some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime.
