- Performs CNC machine operations such as: proper set-up and calibration procedures
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
- Maintains specification by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; replacing worn tolls; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
- Maintains work area and equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; informing manager of repair needs, when required
- Documents actions by completing production logs
- Accomplishes company goals by meeting department goals and daily work requirements within established time frame
- Utilizes cut lists and/or drawings to ensure that finished parts are correct size and color
- Loads and uploads materials properly, in accordance with established company guidelines
- Properly disposes of scrap materials from cuts
- Responsible for learning to run Beamsaw
- Responsible for cutting remakes on Beamsaw
- Reports damaged/defective parts by competing Remake Log Sheet
- Cleans dust collector bags before shift ends
- Adheres to guidelines established by the Safety Director, including wearing of safety glasses at all times in the shop and wearing ear plugs
- Assists on other projects as required by manager

- High school diploma or GED
- Two-years of experience machining; or at least one-year Vocational/Technical School certification/apprenticeship program; or equivalent combination of education, experience
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English
- Must be at least 18 years of age
