Machine Operator A (Material Handler)- 1St Shift

Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a Machine Operator A (Material Handler) for our Chandler, AZ facility.

Schedule: 6:00a-2:30p M-F (Overtime, extended shift and weekend work required)

Skill Level: A (Entry Level)

Compensation: $17.50 per hour

The Role

The Material Handler is responsible for supplying, staging, and storing materials for use in the packaging of laminates. This position is also responsible for providing support to the fabrication personnel for the timely movement of materials for shipment to the customer.

Top Responsibilities:

• Operate Forklift
• Store packaging and boxing materials on shelves.
• Maintain organization of shelves; store materials according to size and type.
• Stage materials for inspection personnel continuously throughout the shift.
• Pull materials from other storage locations to maintain on-hand inventory in the fabrication department.
• Assist other operators to ensure the timely shipment of products.
• Use the shearing machine to cut down boxes as necessary.
• Empty scrap buckets in the appropriate location when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas including equipment, tools, and work surfaces.

Qualifications:

• Successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screening
• Previous forklift experience- required
• Previous material handling experience in a manufacturing environment- preferred
• Previous experience with work instructions, work orders, and ERP systems is a plus
