Description:
Will be responsible for working throughout the machine shop, performing a variety of inspections on machined parts, and trained on the different types of CNC based machinery:
- Responsible for performing in-process inspections on machined parts using calipers, micrometers and other gages/measuring equipment
- Deburr all parts as they come off the machine in accordance with established work practices specific to the parts being made.
- Responsible for loading parts into machines and following safe operation practices.
- Keeping finished parts organized on carts to ensure they move to the proper next department for manufacturing purposes
- Responsible for keeping a clean and safe work environment.
Will be working in one or all of the following departments:
CNC Milling, CNC Swiss Lathe, Wire EDM, CNC Lathe/Barrel Cell Departments and be trained on the manufacturing processes
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Basic math skills
Shift:
- 1st shift - 6:00am to 430pm Monday - Thursday with OT available on Friday
- 2nd shift - 4:20pm to 2:50am Monday - Thursday with OT available on Friday
