Job Description
In this position you will be operating equipment such as plasma tables and brake presses to cut and form steel fabrications to be used in the production of our machines. Cross-training in other departments and performing tasks outside your primary function will give you the opportunity to learn additional skills. This is a 1st shift position, hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday.

Job Description
In this position you will be operating equipment such as plasma tables and brake presses to cut and form steel fabrications to be used in the production of our machines. Cross-training in other departments and performing tasks outside your primary function will give you the opportunity to learn additional skills. This is a 1st shift position, hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, load and operate machines to produce fabricated parts according to work instructions, blueprints or other drawings
- Download appropriate program into machine controller for operation
- De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture
- Organize and prep completed parts for other areas of production
- Trouble shoot machine and program issues and coordinate with engineering to solve
- Follow all safety rules and lockout tagout procedures for tool and machine operation
- Inspect finished product to ensure it meets quality standards
Qualifications
- Able to perform repetitive heavy lifting of 50 lbs.
- Must have basic computer and math skills
- Able to read and understand basic blueprints and drawings
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with a CNC plasma table and brake press preferred
