Machine Operator 3Rd Shift

3rd Shift: 12am – 8:30am $2 shift differential

We currently have an opening for a Material Handler/Machine Operator position.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to lift and carry 60 - 70 pounds of dry ingredients to machines and workstations.
• Extrusion and/or injection mold machines
• Record production data such as lot codes, weights, quantities, and storage locations of materials, as well as equipment performance problems and downtime.
• Inform supervisors/leads of equipment malfunctions that need to be addressed.
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain equipment, machinery, and workstations, using hand tools, shovels, brooms, chemicals, hoses, and lubricants.
• Observe bin/auger operations and monitor to maintain specified operating levels and to detect equipment malfunctions. Report malfunctions to Supervisor.
• Read production schedules, and confer with supervisors, to determine timing of delivery of materials.
• Pour dry ingredients into machines.
• All employees have the responsibility to report food safety problems to their supervisor/lead or someone with authority to initiate action.
• All employees shall identify any risk of intentional harm to the facility, personnel or products.
• All employees have the responsibility to report unauthorized persons to their Supervisor/Lead or a Manager who will challenge the individual and/or escort them from the site.
• Teamwork: may be asked to cover teammates machine while they go on break or lunch

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to climb stairs as needed for some machines
