Monroe Staffing is in search of a meticulous and experienced Machine Operator in Webster, MA to oversee and maintain packaging machinery in our state-of-the-art facility. The ideal candidate will possess technical prowess, a keen eye for quality control, and thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Location: Webster, MA
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am-2:45pm
Responsibilities:
- Operate and oversee industrial packaging machinery to ensure the efficient and precise packaging of products.
- Execute routine machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers in line with production requirements.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on finished products to uphold company standards and meet customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and sustain productivity.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to achieve daily production targets and meet deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a secure working environment for all team members.
- Maintain accurate production records, including machine logs and quality control reports.
- Assist in routine maintenance tasks to guarantee the smooth and efficient operation of machinery.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on new machinery and industry best practices.
- Uphold company standards of cleanliness and safety by maintaining a organized work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator in an industrial packaging or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and follow standard operating procedures.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
