Machine Operator 1 - 2Nd Or Weekend Shift

NOW HIRING: We are looking for a Machine Operator 1 to join our team. The Machine Operator 1 is responsible for setting up, operating, loading and unloading various machines/ equipment to manufacture metal products in accordance with product specifications.

As a Machine Operator 1, you will:

• Operate 1-7 Level I machines and complete simple setup routine
• Work is usually repetitive and subject to process inspection
• May be required to use gauges to check work
• Load and feed metal stock and other materials into manual or automatic machines
• Verify end parts are consistent with blue print specifications
• Accurately label all parts for routing to next operation
• Monitor the production board and internal paperwork to perform tasks in the designated sequence

Role Qualifications as a Machine Operator 1:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Skill of effective and appropriate verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform basic shop map and read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to operate hoists, cranes, and other powered industrial vehicles as needed
• Ability to operate various power and hand tools
• Ability to use various measuring devices; tape measures, squares, and calipers

The actual base salary for this role is based on various factors, including but not limited to market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The range provided is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

• Shift options:
  • 2nd shift is Monday - Thursday 3pm – 1am includes $1.50/hour shift differential
  • Weekend shift is Friday – Sunday 5am – 5pm includes $1.50/hour shift differential
• 10-hour shifts (per day) including paid breaks (1st and 2nd shifts)
• 12-hour shifts (per day) including paid breaks (Weekend shift)
• Voluntary Overtime is available
