Job opportunity at major medical device company! Our client is looking for a Conversion Operator to join their ever growing team.
Location: St. Paul, MN
Pay: $21-$26/hr, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of associates that may be assigned to your press to ensure that they are inspecting, catching, stacking, bagging etc. to meet the requirements of specific project you are running.
- Evaluating the team and making adjustments to what they are doing to efficiently process product on press.
- Communicate rate deficiencies to management per prescribed procedures.
- Perform quality inspections per Quality Department procedures and Engineering work instructions and document results.
- Accurate entries in the computer time clock system.
- Accurate documentation of inspection.
- Responsible for escalating issues to the technical lead, lead or advisor if associates assigned to your project are not performing the duties you have assigned.
- Responsible for escalating when material usage or time allotted for set up are being exceeded.
Requirements:
- High School education or equivalent
- 1 or more years Rotary Press experience and or technical training from accredited trade school.
- Able to accurately understand and interpret basic prints.
- Proficient PC skills, Microsoft office products.
- Medical manufacturing experience a plus.
- Lean manufacturing experience a plus to include 5s, S.M.E.D., continuous improvement.
