Stotz Equipment, a John Deere dealer, is looking for a Machine Monitoring Specialist. This individual will be a resource for Service Departments across all locations. This person will be responsible for monitoring machines using John Deere systems for Expert Alerts and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) for proactive machine diagnosis and repair. Contacting customers and conversing at a high level about what machines are experiencing. Contacting and delivering information packages to locations for machine repairs. - 5 to 7 years of diesel mechanic experience
- Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of John Deere equipment.
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent oral communication and written skills
- Strong time-management skills
- Analyze data and communicate information on company progress in utilizing the technologies
- Have a solid understanding the remote technologies available to our service departments
- Continually look for ways to improve the level of support provided
A good candidate will have knowledge in several of the following areas:
- Expert Alerts
- Machine Health Dashboards
- Remote Display Access
- Operations Center
- Service Advisor
