As a Medical Assistant, you will work in a team environment to promote a positive experience in patient care with compassion and kindness. You will support licensed staff and provider(s) in providing an excellent patient experience by efficiently meeting the patient's needs. You will support efficiENT Clinic flow and communicate accurately and positively with team members. Medical Assistants work under the supervision of the physician and/or provider. Clinical oversight is provided by the RN Supervisor, Lead Nurse and/or Clinical Director of Nursing.

The Nampa ENT, Hearing and Balance Clinic is now hiring for a patient-oriented and outgoing Medical Assistant!

Position Summary & Highlights:

+ $1500 sign on bonus offered to external candidates!

+ This position will support a new physician to Saint Alphonsus.

+ The clinic offers a wide range of services to patients of all ages, from sore throats and allergies to sinus problems and ear infections, we are here to care for our patients.

+ We have a comprehensive team of medical providers (doctors, audiologists, therapists, etc.) who recognize the need for patients to receive timely diagnosis, testing, and treatment.

What You Will Do:

+ In this position, you will support a new physician to the clinic.

+ You will perform such duties as rooming patients, taking vitals, patient intake, chart prep, and setting up for minor procedures.

+ In addition, you will also occasionally perform injections, patient follow up, assist with referrals, and conduct prior authorizations.

+ An ideal candidatewill enjoy learning, like a fast paced, fun and collaborative environment, be extremely organized - a task master, and likes working in a team and autonomously.

Work Schedule:

The position will work 40 hours per week, Mondays - Fridays around the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm.

4400 E. Flamingo Ave. Ste. 200, Nampa, ID 83687 (on the Nampa Medical Center campus)

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.

+ MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:

+ American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)

+ American Medical Technologists (RMA)

+ National Healthcare Association (CCMA)

+ National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)

+ American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)

+ Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire
