The Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic, is now hiring for a team-oriented and efficient Medical Assistant to support our wonderful care team at our clinics in Boise and Nampa!
Position Summary & Highlights:
  • This position will support our MFM providers at both our Boise and Nampa locations.
  • Saint Alphonsus Maternal-Fetal Medicine is an AIUM-accredited practice that provides high-level perinatal ultrasound for women in the midst of a high-risk pregnancy. Our fellowship-trained physicians have years of experience providing the kind of specialized care required to protect the health of moms and their babies during the most critical phases of a complicated pregnancy.
  • Our Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists provide consultation and co-management with a primary obstetric provider that will assist you in planning for a healthy delivery.

What Will You Do:
  • In addition to primary MA duties you will assist with procedures such amniocentesis or CMVs.
  • You will also complete referrals and orders in the task inbox.
  • An ideal candidate will be a team player and enjoy working with a cohesive team.
  • You will also enjoy working independently and in a quiet setting.
  • You will be flexible and will be willing to travel to other clinic locations based on provider's schedule.

Work Schedule:
40 hours per week, Mondays - Fridays, around the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. Some flexibility is needed based on clinic needs.
Locations:
  • Boise - 900 N. Liberty, Suite 206, Boise, ID 83704
  • Nampa - 4424 E. Flamingo Rd. Suite 220, Nampa, ID 83687
  • In the future may travel to outreach clinics in Caldwell and Ontario

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:
    • American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
    • American Medical Technologists (RMA)
    • National Healthcare Association (CCMA)
    • National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
    • American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
