We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. ```Duties:```
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Provide wound care and dressings as needed
- Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens
- Assist with minor surgical procedures, including suturing and wound care
- Educate patients on health conditions, medications, and treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
```Experience:```
- Must be a licensed vocational nurse in the state of California
- Proficient in medical documentation and electronic health records (EHR)
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding and medical terminology
- Experience in family planning services is a plus
- Knowledge of Botox administration is preferred
- Ability to perform phlebotomy and handle laboratory specimens
- Experience with durable medical equipment (DME) is beneficial
- Familiarity with dialysis procedures is a plus
