Welcome to Concierge Podiatry and Spa, Dr. Ivar Roth, a Newport Beach podiatrist has created a unique experience that integrates concierge medical treatments and Luxury Spa services to deliver the ultimate in foot health and beauty. We have an immediate opening for a 5-star spa trained Nail Technologist in our Newport Beach location.
The Nail Technologist is responsible for providing professional and relaxed manicures, pedicures, foot treatments and hand and foot massages to guests. The position is responsible for describing and promoting the services of the Spa. The Nail Technologist must maintain an professional appearance and friendly attitude toward guests, other employees and management staff.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and provide a thorough consultation of individual needs.
- Provide professional nail services, including, but not limited to, manicures, pedicures, gel polish and nail extensions, regenerative foot and hand treatments and paraffin wax services.
- Provide all treatments according to protocol with skill, proficiency and following all internal timing and service steps.
- Follow all State Board of California Sanitation and Safety requirements.
- Prescribing the appropriate solutions for guests including foot smoothing treatments, exfoliation, paraffin treatments and retail products for home use.
- Achieve service and retail sales goals.
- Project and image of professional and friendly image and a willingness to provide personalized services to Spa guests.
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Nail Technician in a Luxury Spa environment.
- Proof of all required state licenses and requirements.
- Effective and clear communication in the English language.
- Extensive knowledge of manicure and pedicure methods, the products used and proper protocols.
- Demonstrated knowledge of comprehensive professional nail techniques.
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a demonstrated ability to work with high-end clientele.
- Ability to work professionally with management staff and as a part of the Spa team.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Display a high level of ownership, accountability and initiative.
