Luxury & Destination Events Assistant Planner

EVENT PLANNER RESPONSIBILITIES + SKILLS:

• Help MDH team plan and procure vendors, services, and décor within budget and client specifications.
• Assist MDH planning team organize events from start to finish, including but not limited to; location, guest lists, décor, entertainment, catering, hotel accommodations, and transportation.
• On top of current wedding trends
• Ensure overall vision of event is executed seamlessly
• Identifying client requirements & expectations per event
• Outstanding communication/follow-up skills (in person, email and phone)
• Skilled at problem solving
• Exceptional organization skills
• Skilled at networking and negotiation
• Can serve as on-location contact for destination weddings
• Experienced at Excel
• Team player

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
