Lube Technician

Frontier Environmental Services has immediate openings for a Lube Technician. You will be responsible for handling all preventive maintenance such as oil lube and filter changes and inspections on a large construction fleet on-site and in a variety of field locations in the tri-state area.

Responsibilities:

• Drive to work sites and or company owned locations to perform services and component inspections on company owned and rented heavy equipment.
• Operate and inspect machines and report issues to fleet management
• Perform all work in accordance with preventative maintenance intervals and schedules, company policies, procedures and standards with strong focus on quality and safety.
• Maintain vehicle/machine records by annotating services and repairs, complete daily paperwork.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED. Graduation from a technical or military school a plus
• 1-3 years of experience in repairing and maintaining construction equipment and heavy trucks. Mechanic experience in construction, oil and gas or related industry preferred
• Valid driver license.
• Meet DOT regulatory requirements for operating a service truck.
• Must pass drug screening and criminal background check
• Computer skills to produce timely, detailed service reports, repair logs, and diagnosing of equipment,
• Pass drug screening and criminal background check.

Working Conditions:

You will work outdoors in all types of weather including dry, wet and humid conditions where temperatures can range from below freezing to 90+ degrees. Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, mists, odors and vibrations. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Perform very heavy work - exert more than 50 pounds of force constantly to life, carry and move objects. Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and the ability to climb, kneel, stand, walk crouch, stoop, reach, pull and push.
