Volkswagen SouthTowne is currently looking for 1 full time and 1 part-time Lube (LOF) and Tire technicians to join their Service Express team.
Full time hours are M-F with rotating Saturdays. Part time hours are 7 am - 12 pm M-F and 8-5 on Saturday, only every other Saturday. Expand your career at Volkswagen SouthTowne, the #1 VW dealer in Utah and top 10 in the country!

Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes and models; both domestic and foreign, VW preferred but not required
- Automotive training in Tire and/or lube work
- Strong teamwork skills
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
- Must have clean & valid driver's license
- Manufacturer Training
- State Vehicle Inspector Certification is preferred
- State Emissions Certification is preferred
Candidates with a “can-do,” team-focused, positive attitude will be most successful. Priority consideration will be given to those with dealership experience.
