- Valid NJ Instructional Certificate (Earth, Physical or Biological Science certification preferred)
- Knowledge of the scope and sequence of the Next Generation Science Standards
- Ability to conduct/facilitate laboratory investigations
- Knowledge/experience with modeling and inquiry-based science instruction
- Ability to integrate technology effectively to enhance instruction
- Knowledge of Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching - a plus
- Mandatory criminal history background check and P.L. 2018 c. 5 clearance
