LTL Freight Representative (No Cold Calling)

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

At FreightCenter, you will partner with customers who ship on a daily/monthly basis to keep their items moving across the country. Serving as their freight expert, you will determine the best solutions for their shipping needs, in return, creating long-term customer relationships and repeat business.

** PLEASE NOTE: all positions are in our Palm Harbor, FL office. We do not offer remote positions. **

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Outbound calls and emails to the leads assigned to you, No Cold Calling!
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships
• Apply different sales techniques to offer tailored solutions based on individual customer needs.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and motivation in your work.
• Retain existing customers and explore upselling opportunities by showcasing the wide variety of services we offer.
• Consistently close deals with a focus on service-oriented solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills via phone and email.
• Ability to actively listen
• Computer Savy: Must be able to navigate multiple tabs. Proficient in word, excel, and Google Drive
• Goal-oriented
• New agents will start on a 10 am to 7 pm shift, alternating about 1 Saturday per month
• A problem solver
• The ability to adapt to new technology
• Eager to learn and hungry for money

No sales experience? No experience working in logistics in any way, shape, or form? No problem. Many of our top performers were brand new to the industry when they walked through our doors. We are looking for people with an aptitude for learning, a keen ability to persuade, and a drive to be at the top of their game every day. Havepower over your income potential! This position starts at $15.00 per hour plus Monthly bonuses,with an average total compensation of $40k in the 1st year, top performers have the potential to earn more! Tenured employees have the potential to earn up to 85K!
