This is a temporary non-benefited position. The start date is flexible during May. Position is May through August 2024 with the possibility of working through harvest (approximately the end of October).
Description & Details:
Groundskeeping: mowing using a zero turn lawn mower, weedwacking, tilling flowerbeds, planting flowers, weeding flowerbeds, trimming trees, cleaning the grounds, etc.
Janitorial duties throughout the LREC buildings and cleaning state fleet vehicles.
Painting and general upkeep tasks inside and outside of LREC buildings and grounds.
Assisting LREC employees as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be able to follow directions and have good communications skills.
Willingness to learn, highly motivated, and ability to multi-task.
Must be able to work independently or as part of a team and must be able to physically perform job duties.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm working 40 hours/week at the Langdon Research Extension Center in Langdon, ND.
Advertised Pay:
Wage: $13+ / hour depending on experience.
