Qualified candidates must demonstrate a high degree of leadership, organizational ability, and communication skills. Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Serves as nursing supervisor during shift by overseeing work completed by Direct Care Staff and intervenes/mentors for increased quality and efficiency
- Coordinates all nursing services
- Administers controlled medication
- Provides routine care, observes residents’ health, assists the Director of Nursing and the Doctor
- Communicates instructions to residents regarding medications, doctor’s orders, and basic care needs
- Maintains health records
- Maintains confidentiality in relation to all residents, healthcare staff and documentation
Qualified candidates must:
- Present with a positive attitude
- Possess an excellent rapport with the elderly demonstrating patience, kindness, and compassion
- Provide exceptional personal care services
- Be able to pass a drug screening and background check
- Be willing to submit to a pre-employment physical
Education:
- Current Pennsylvania Practical Nursing Licensure
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
