Providence is calling a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (1.0 FTE, Variable Shift) to work inTransitional Careat Providence Marianwood in Issaquah, WA.
The Licensed Practical Nurse fulfills the Mission of Providence Health & Services in working with residents, families, volunteers, and PMW staff. PH&S Core Values of respect, excellence, compassion, justice, and stewardship are demonstrated by the LPN in her/his daily work and care. Nursing care is holistic and is delivered in accordance with the PH&S vision, relevant professional nursing standards, and the Washington State licensed practical nurse scope of practice.
The LPN follows all relevant policies and procedures and works within the Licensed Practical Nurse scope of practice defined in the Revised Code of Washington/Washington Administrative Code. The LPN is a member of the Household Team, providing clinical and health-related care, and participates in all aspects of resident-directed care by participating in non-health-related activities.
The Licensed Practical Nurse at Providence Marianwood applies up-to-date knowledge and skills when providing care in accordance with the resident's individualized care plan. Nursing care is always delivered in partnership with residents and families to ensure balance between health-related recommendations and resident values and preferences.

Required qualifications for this position include:
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Washington Licensed Practical Nurse (Vendor Managed)
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed)

Providence Marianwood in Issaquah, Washington compassionately serves people of all ages and faiths. Our Transitional Care Unit is designed for patients coming out of the hospital who need skilled nursing care, end of life care, or rehabilitation for those recovering from surgery or who have a functional loss from illness, disease, or an accident. Our Long Term Care unit provides skilled nursing in a residential setting, addressing the needs of our residents through creating a sense of community and home in “neighborhoods” and providing a model of care that is resident-centered.
