Acadiana Endoscopy Center is an ambulatory surgery center, compromised of a team of dedicated and accomplished professionals providing exceptional patient care in the field of gastroenterology and endoscopy services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the physician with biopsies, polypectomies, injections and dilations in the GI patient.
- Prepare specimens for transport to the histology lab.
- Accurately record patient information in the patient EMR and log book.
- Assist with patient phone calls.
- Restock the Procedure Room.
- Maintains patient privacy in conjunction with company policies, HIPAA guidelines and all relevant government regulations.
- Utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment and universal precautions.
- Displays respectful behavior towards others.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited licensed practical nurse program and current licensure in the state of Louisiana
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in GI endoscopy preferred
- Able to be physically active 80% of the time
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to periodically lift 20lbs.

Hours of Work:
Monday – Friday, 6:45am to 3pm. Occasional overtime work may be required.
