Join our incredible and compassionate pediatric team as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant. Our pediatric team engages in a collaborative team model approach as each member of the team works closely together proudly providing convenient, comprehensive primary care to children ages 0-18.

Position Purpose: Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Medical Assistants (MA) assist in providing excellent patient care by assisting physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office settings. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by the physician.

Hours/Shift: Full Time/Days - 4x10 work week Monday - Thursday from 7:00am - 5:30pm

Qualifications:

  • LPN Candidates
    • Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program and High school or Equivalent
    • Current, valid Arizona LPN license or compact state LPN/LVN license
    • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
    • Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • MA Candidates
    • High School or Equivalent
    • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
    • Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
    • Must meet one of the following three criteria:
      1. Has attended an accredited Medical Assistant training program by one of the following:
        • The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools 
      2. If your Medical Assistant program was not accredited by one of the above agencies, you must have a Medical Assistant Certification issued by one of the following:
        •  
          • National Healthcareers Association: CCMA
          • American Medical Technologist: RMA
          • American Association of Medical Assistants: AAMA
          • National Center for Competency Testing: NCMA
          • American Medical Certification Association: CMAC
      3. Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States

Work Requirements: Able to distinguish appropriate colors, ability to work above or below shoulder level, life to 50 pounds, and walk or be on feet 90% of the day. Expected duties have routine potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues, to chemicals, biological, and radioactive substances.
