LPN, Medication/Treatment Nurse

Fargo Elim is hiring a Full-Time Medication/Treatment Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in our beautiful, brand-new health care center. In this role, you will work alongside the charge nurse on our 20- bed TCU unit administering medications and completing treatments.
This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working Monday through Friday in our TCU department.
Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Medication/Treatment LPN responsibilities:

• Administers medications and complete treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Assist the Charge Nurse with the day-to- day operation of the TCU unit.
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Performs additional duties as required.

Medication/Treatment LPN skills and requirements:

• Current LPN license in North Dakota required.
• Prior TCU experience a plus.
• IV certified or in a current course.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
