Job Title: LPN / LVN (Nursing)

Job Summary:

The LPN / LVN (Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse) is responsible for providing nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. They assist with patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and patient education.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Perform nursing assessments and provide care to patients

2. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by healthcare providers

3. Assist with wound care and dressing changes

4. Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team

5. Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records

6. Provide patient education on health conditions, medications, and treatments

7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

8. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

9. Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Current LPN / LVN license in the state of practice

2. Graduation from an accredited nursing program

3. BLS certification

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

6. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

7. Ability to prioritize and multitask

8. Compassionate and caring demeanor

9. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
