LPN / LVN for Central State Hospital - Milledgeville, GA

Looking for a Psychiatric – Mental – Behavioral Health LPN for a State Facility in Milledgeville, GA.

Other Locations Include Augusta, Savannah, Columbus, and Decatur. This is for adult psych and forensic units.

Looking for LPNs to assist with patient care in an adult psych / forensic unit.

Central State Hospital - Through Whitestone Healthcare

Payton B. Cook Building; 2450 Vinson Highway, Milledgeville, GA 31062

Pay: $31-$35/Hour

Health insurance and benefits are available for full-time employees

Shift: 3 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. for full-time - 40 hours per week.

Term: Ongoing!

Orientation: Every 2 weeks!

Job Description: Assessments, treatment team meetings, admissions (on admissions unit only), discharges, documentation of daily, weekly, or monthly notes, assigning other staff to tasks, supervising meals, managing emergency codes for behavior or medical, and arranging for medical appointments off campus.

LPN: Med pass; assisting RN's

Work every other weekend/Hold Over Policy

Must work 1 major summer and 1 major winter holiday.

Credentials Required:

Active Nursing License

Current TB (if they have a positive TB – Chest X-ray and symptom screening required)

Current Flu (waiver available - must be approved by facility)

American Heart Association BLS CPR Card AND First Aid

Must provide official college transcripts or College Diploma

Gemalto Background and LabCorp Drug Screen
