TEEMA is looking for experienced Dialysis LPNs to join our team in Rochester, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for you to provide exceptional care to dialysis patients at several of our facilities.
Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Dialysis Center
Location: Rochester, NY
Position Type: Contract (13 weeks, with potential for extension)
Pay Rate: $30 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday with rotating Saturdays
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: [Specify Hours] (e.g., 7:00 am - 3:00 pm)
- 2nd Shift: [Specify Hours] (e.g., 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm)
- Shift lengths: 8 or 10 hours
Responsibilities:
1. Administer dialysis treatments to patients as per established protocols and physician orders.
2. Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing vital signs and responding to any adverse reactions.
3. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
4. Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans, including monitoring and documenting patient progress.
5. Educate and support patients and their families regarding dialysis procedures, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
7. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with dialysis best practices.
8. Float between dialysis centers within a 15-mile radius as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
2. Dialysis experience is required.
3. BLS certification.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
6. Flexibility to work rotating Saturdays and float between dialysis centers.
Contract Details:
