LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Pediatric Wellness of Northern New York is looking to hire a Licensed Practical Nurse. We are a very busy practice, so we are looking for someone who is energic, is a team player and is able to multitask. We have a great team of caring, light-hearted doctors and nurses. We seek a nurse who will fit in with medical family as we care together for the children of Northern New York.

Job Description:

Provides team-based nursing care to patients and is responsible for managing patient flow. Assume primary responsibility for provider’s patients which includes taking vitals, testing vision and hearing, reviewing of chart and updating as needed, perform urine test, throat cultures, and respiratory panels, administer immunizations, ear irrigations, and assisting providers.

Requirements:

· 1yr Pediatric Experience (preferred not required)

· Ability to administer vaccines.

· Comfortable working with computers and able to type efficiently.

· Ability to work in a fast pace environment.

· Excellent communication skills

· Organization and priority skills

· Medent EMR Experience (preferred not required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
