Job Summary
We are seeking a Part-time LPN with Geriatric Nurse to join our team! As a Geriatric Nurse, you will spend your time caring for our aging clients, administering medication, and following orders laid out by the team the client's Physician. You will also work closely with RN Administrator, Activity Team and offering support and guidance to the Center Team, and be a supportive, helpful presence to our patients. The ideal candidate has experience working with an older population, has all the required licensing in the state, and works well independently as well as within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor clients daily and making notes on issues as needed.
- Administer prescribed medications as directed.
- Document daily vital signs and complaints and issues, report to client's physician as needed.
- Assisting other staff as needed to keep the shift moving and provide excellent care.
- Being a positive, supportive presence to our aging patients
Qualifications
- Active, valid nursing license within the state of GA
- Experience working with an aging population desired.
- Comfortability working independently and within a team.
- The ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Computer experience desired
