Job Summary
We are seeking a Part-time RN with Geriatric Nurse 7:30-1:30 M-F, no weekends to join our Adult Day Program team! As a Geriatric Nurse, you will spend your time caring for our aging clients, administering medication, and following orders laid out by the team the client's Physician. You will also work closely with RN Administrator, Activity Team and offering support and guidance to the Center Team, and be a supportive, helpful presence to our patients. The ideal candidate has experience working with an older population, has all the required licensing in the state, and works well independently as well as within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other colleagues to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or reactions
- Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with the supervisor
Qualifications
- Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of employment
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
- Valid driver’s license
- First aid/CPR certification required
