LPN Corrections

Overview:

Distinctive|RS is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an Corrections LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and ensuring the well-being of facility inmates. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in within a facility in need of support.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN license in Maryland
• Minimum of 1 years of corrections experience as an LPN
• Proficient in acute pain management and basic life support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Bi-weekly compensation
