Job Description: Provides general nursing care to clients of outpatient behavioral health facilities. Care includes providing medical assessments, taking vitals, administering medication, and giving injections. This position carries a MH/AD caseload that will require in-home and community visits. Will work one day a week in Coffee County for nursing services.
Job Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
Competencies: Ability to identify medication. Ability to assist physician. Ability to take vital signs. Knowledge of practical nursing procedures. Ability to observe and record deviations in client condition.
Required Minimum Qualifications: A current Georgia license to practice as a licensed practical nurse and one year of nursing experience.
