Job Description
Behavioral Healthcare organization seeking Contract or Full-Time LPC, LCSW or LMFT to join our team! You will provide recovery-oriented rehabilitation services in group or individual settings to at-risk youth. Sessions can be remote or Face to face based on client's need.
Responsibilities:
- Completes comprehensive assessments and treatment planning for caseload, and provides counseling services to clients.
- Develops and implements treatment and discharge plans for clients with dual diagnoses, social or mental health issues.
- Maintains records and charts in accordance with organizational, regulatory, accreditation, and contractual standards.
- Serves as professional resource to other Counselors in resolving complex case problems.
- Collaborates with supervisor or other psychiatric, social work, or medical professionals on specific case-related issues to maintain continuity of care, and to aid in achieving therapeutic and restorative goals for clients. Duties vary by site assigned.
- Provide prevention-oriented therapy
- Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Must licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LCSW or LMFT) approved in the State of Texas. Must maintain a valid license for continued employment.
- Experience working with youth
- Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
- Familiarity with community mental health resources
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong leadership qualities
