Lowboy Driver/Heavy Equipment Hauler - Class A Cdl Driver

Seeking EXPERIENCED Heavy Equipment Hauler with CDL Class A. Applicants MUST have a minimum of 2 years of experience hauling heavy equipment on construction jobsites in Northern Colorado and have a current valid driving license and clean driving record with no DUI’s or major violations in the past 5 years. Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus.

– Subject to DOT pre-employment drug screen + random drug testing under the DOT/FMCSA guidelines.

– All hauls are local, no overnight.

This position entails loading/unloading heavy equipment on to a trailer. Smaller equipment can be pulled using a 5500 automatic truck and larger equipment would need to be pulled using a semi-truck. This position requires a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) and it is required to adhere to all regulations set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMSCA). While loading heavy equipment, the ability to get up and down off of the trailer to properly secure the trailer load is a requirement. Requirements on how to properly secure a load is set by OSHA & FMSCA standards. This position is required to drive around the Northern Colorado area delivering equipment (loading and unloading) as needed. Ability to lift and/or pull 50-100 pounds.

This position requires intermittent physical activity including standing, walking, bending kneeling, stooping, and crouching. Must be able to talk, hear, stand, sit, and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must possess normal manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
