Job Description
We operate 4 general aviation Piston Aircraft based in at Boulder City Municipal Airport (KBVU). We need a professional mechanic to manage the fleet and handle the ongoing maintenance and inspections of the aircraft. These aircraft are used for flight training, rentals, and personal use through Desert Flying Club.
You must hold a valid and current FAA A&P certificate for this position.
A&P Mechanic
You will be working as a full time mechanic in Boulder City, NV as an A&P.
- Type of work includes 50- and 100-hour inspections, electrical troubleshooting and install, sheet metal repairs, composite repairs, hydraulic systems, landing gear repairs, fuel tank repairs and calibrations, and any other work required in piston single and piston twins.
- Knowledge of FAR's and use of Proper maintenance manuals is a must.
- Must have 2+ years experience maintaining and repairing Piston Aircraft (Cessna, Beech, Piper).
- Must be well organized individual and maintain a clean work area.
- You set your schedule for maintenance of the aircraft. Quick response time on squawks are a must.
- Ability to research and procure parts.
- Maintenance and parts manuals will be available for aircraft.
- Tools must be provided by mechanic.
Job Type: Full-Time
Wage: $26 - $34/hr depending on experience. Additional pay for IA.
