ResponsibilitiesJOB SUMMARY
The Lounge Server is responsible to expedite guest drink orders and provide beverage and bus service, while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. All duties are performed in accordance to company policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Complete opening side duties fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies.
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available on the casino floor
- Knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for each drink.
- Communicate order into system through Bartender; ensure transmission is verified.
- Knowledge of Hotel services and features as well as local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries.
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management; notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
- Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six (6) months experience in food or beverage experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
- Wine and spirits certification.
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Alcohol Awareness Card
- Union Referral
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledgeable of menu items, including mixing and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment.
- Knowledgeable of standard kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, and coolers, slicers and beverage machines.
- Knowledgeable of tableside sequence of service, wine and liquor.
- Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations.
- Knowledgeable of particular characteristics and description of every wine and champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list.
- Knowledgeable of computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Knowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
- Attend required trainings as assigned.
- Ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
