Summary:
The Loss Prevention Business Partner will conduct audits, investigations and training within their geographically assigned areas including Distribution Centers, 3rd party locations of regional carrier and vendor cross dock locations. Up to 30% on demand and/or scheduled travel as required. Role will be accountability for workplace safety/OSHA, TSA regulatory compliance, customer losses and physical security & systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for KPIs covering OSHA Accident Rate, TSA Regulatory Compliance and Customer Losses
- Audit DCs and 3PL operations assessing Loss Prevention, Safety and Regulatory processes to identify and correct deficiencies.
- Communicate deficiencies and help operators develop effective corrective action plans
- Escalate government regulatory deficiencies and seek immediate rectification
- Provide coaching and training to support corrective actions to DC Management and Carrier Management
- Investigate regulatory failures, company policy violations, criminal activity, customer losses and workplace accidents
- Appropriately communicate results of investigations to Ops, HR and LP Leadership and help operations develop effective prevention plans
- Prepare cases for prosecution and testify in court when applicable
- Ensure access control processes are being followed
- Ensure TSA and OSHA Regulatory compliance
- Individual and committee project work to improve processes and standards
- Maintain a physical presence on the warehouse floor
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 2 years of experience in auditing and in conducting investigations
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- 2 years of experience in a distribution center or warehousing environment
- Wicklander-Zulawski interviewing and interrogation training preferred
- Industry certification preferred (i.e. LPC, CFI, PCI, PSP)
- Proficient with computer systems and with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Experience working with security systems such as cameras, access control, alarms and locking hardware preferred

Physical Requirements:
- Physical demands are consistent with a warehouse environment where frequently this position will be exposed to cold, hot and changing temperatures; will constantly experience noise at medium level not damaging or loud enough to require protective equipment; will frequently be exposed to dust, dirt and changes in lighting
- May be required to push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. (additional weight may be required with assistance)
- Travel required (<30%)
