SalaryThe Pegasus School is searching for a Long-Term Substitute Kindergarten Associate Teacher from approximately April 1, 2024 to mid-June, 2024. The candidate will have a few ‘shadow’ days with the current teacher, prior to their start date.
Rate of pay for this position is $200 per day.

Preferred candidates are individuals who have a degree and credential in elementary or secondary education or the like; a sincere and deep appreciation for working with children; and the ability to challenge bright and creative children. In addition, candidates should have experience in differentiating in education, collaborating with colleagues, student-centered twenty-first century education, and working in an early elementary school setting.

The Pegasus School serves 595 students from pre-K through grade 8. The school is situated in a park-like 14-acre setting with facilities that include a theater, gymnasium, art studios, science and technology labs, library and classrooms.
