The Dennis-Yarmouth Middle School seeks a dynamic educator who cares about the whole student and wants to implement a Digital Literacy/Computer Science curriculum for our students in grades 6 and 7. This individual will teach all students a variety of technology skills through their instruction. As technology continues to impact society, students need to understand this impact and how to use technology effectively as a problem-solving tool.
Individuals with a strong background in technology are strongly encouraged to apply. The Human Resource Office will assist the successful applicant to obtain a temporary license with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

- Teach all students in the ability to use, assess, and work with technology, i.e. to become digitally literate.
- Principles of Computer Science, digital computing and programming will be implemented.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from accredited college or university.
- The ability to plan and implement the MA Digital Literacy/Computer Science curriculum standards.
- Classroom management skills that support students' social emotional learning.
- Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
