Our client is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join their long-term care team. As an integral member of our nursing staff, the Long-Term Care RN will play a key role in providing high-quality, resident-centered care to their elderly population. Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to residents in accordance with the established care plan, physician orders, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health status, identifying needs and developing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to facility protocols.
- Monitor and assess residents for changes in condition, promptly reporting any concerns to the interdisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
- Assist in the development and implementation of activities that enhance the physical, mental, and social well-being of residents.
- Document all aspects of resident care accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families, promoting a positive and collaborative care environment.
- Participate in regular team meetings, contributing insights and collaborating on resident care plans.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in long-term care or a related healthcare setting.
Please note- The annual base salary range is $30/hr to $40/hr. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
