The Warehouse Logistics Coordinator is responsible for processing materials, inventory control, and shipping/receiving at one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships that carries multiple brands of equipment, parts, and supplies.  The goal of this role is to successfully manage the daily operations of all facets of the logistics process in the Baton Rouge Area.

Job Requirements

Essential Duties/Accountabilities:

• Represent GEMAIRE as a leader in the industry.

• Release pending transfers from the system.
• File claims for miss-shipped items or damages.
• Verify received items against packing slips for accuracy.
• Create Bills of Lading (BOL) using Uber Freight or UPS.
• Conduct monthly cycle counts for items with discrepancies.
• Daily loading and unloading items from the trucks.
• Pick and verify transfers to be shipped.
• Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-3 years of Warehouse operational experience. Experience in the operations of a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in distribution environment utilizing technology (e.g. layout, slotting, scanning, bin locations etc.)
• Demonstrated knowledge of logistics problems, applications, and distribution systems
• Must possess the attitude of wanting to learn and grow with our Company.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
