POSITION SUMMARY:

 

Responsible for daily maintenance and support of all supply chain execution systems deployed in the Manhattan WMS buildings.  This includes WMS, LMS, Slotting, WCS, and Put to Light Systems.  The analyst will lead the operations team through the proper utilization of this technology on a day to day basis.  While they will report to the WMS Manager, a certain degree of autonomy will be required with regard to leading a cross functional team through the Inventory Sync Process. This includes conducting root cause analysis on issues, coordinating resolution with DC, IT, and corporate supply chain.

 

The Logistics Systems Analyst will be expected to present slotting strategy recommendations to the Logistics Systems Manager.  This includes soliciting input from the operations team, modeling scenarios, and synthesizing the optimal strategy for the building.  

 

The analyst will also be responsible for leading the DC through issue triage and prioritization.  The analyst will lead issue resolution calls, develop recommendations on work-arounds, and facilitate leadership updates.  Other daily responsibilities include researching inquiries from and educating end users with regard to functionality of the technology on site while providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

 

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Lead bridge calls to ensure production issues are driven to resolution
  • Identify user behaviors leading to inventory sync issues
  • Collaborate with DC and IT leadership to remediate inventory sync issues
  • Facilitate the inventory sync reporting process with multiple partners from the DC, IT, and corporate operations
  • Build the slotting strategy with the DC/Corporate and execute daily
  • Drive multiple system issues to resolution in a timely manner to ensure consistent DC operations
  • Manage day to day responsibilities as well as user questions/issues as they occur
  • Create ad-hoc DC reporting based on leadership requests
  • Enable smooth DC operation, by working off-shift hours support on nights/weekends (as required)
  • Function as primary point of contact for all end users issues/questions
  • Work with vendors on root cause analysis for issues requiring escalation
  • Provide the DC with subject matter expertise with regard to technology
  • Analyze and prioritize help desk tickets requiring resolution
  • Partner with multiple departments to complete user access and user termination requests
  • Create and run the daily slotting jobs
  • Maintain SOX compliant temp user process

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a focus in Information Technology or Supply Chain Management desired
  • 5 years of experience with a Warehouse Management System preferred (Manhattan Associates preferred)
  • Previous support experience with SAP desirable
  • Significant experience supporting technology solutions for end users
  • Highly motivated with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize work, and operate independently with minimal direction
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Positive attitude persistent, action-oriented, and a strong sense of accountability
  • Strong experience with relational databases and how to write SQL queries
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, project team and other departments within the organization
  • Good verbal and written skills to communicate with associates and all levels of management
  • Interfaces with management and supervision to ensure proper adoption and utilization of technology solutions
  • Work effectively within a team environment
  • Self-motivated and able to manage by exception
  • Resolve conflicts/discrepancies positively and professionally
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in team setting.
  • Good understanding of warehousing and physical distribution concepts.
  • Ability to work long hours and weekends as dictated by business needs
  • Broad cross-functional experience in Distribution Center environments
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes within a Distribution Center environment using RF, Put To Light & Voice Pick technologies.
  • Job location will be in Greenwood, IN, Dallas, TX, or Fresno, CA

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Typical DC work environment – 100%
  • Travel ~5%/year
  • Ability to walk and stand while observing for extended periods
