HX5 is currently seeking a Logistics Support Specialist to advise and assist 417 FLTS personnel by providing advice and planning recommendations regarding logistical support and required supply action(s) for DT&E and QT&E activities executed and supported by the 417 Flight Test Squadron.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting with conducting validation and verification of logistical requirements.
• Assisting with identifying deficiencies in materials used in test programs.
• Assisting with arranging shipment and receipt of logistics items required for test activities.
• Participating in and/or assisting with conducting Joint Reliability & Maintainability Evaluation Team and Test Data Scoring Board meetings.
• Assisting in the development and execution of test procedures.
• Applying knowledge of common test equipment to effectively review and make substantive recommendations regarding support equipment requirements for test activities.
• Applying familiarity with governing DoD regulations, USAF instructions and AFTC test methodologies to provide effective recommendations to test teams regarding logistics issues.
• Assisting in the operation and management of the unit's programs for management of squadron equipment items, vehicles, composite tool kits, shipping and receiving of equipment and supply account.
• Assisting in the maintenance of records for equipment, inspections, inventories, and bench stock.

Education and Experience

• Must have a completed Master's degree in an applicable discipline and over ten (10) years of experience
• Twelve (12) years of relevant technical experience may be substituted for education.
• Experience with Munitions scheduling/receiving/shipping requirements
• Experience with Flight line driving procedures and requirements

Preferences

• Experience in munitions handling and accountability, Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System (TICMS), Global Ammunition Control Point (GACP), and Agile Munitions Support Tool (AMST) strongly desired.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret clearance.
