Job Summary:
- Responsible for maintaining the highest level of product quality within the established guidelines of the “Quality Management System”
- Responsible for maintaining the highest level of Logistical practices without sacrificing the “Quality Management System.”
- Responsible for improving the performance and productivity of the Logistics Department.
- Responsible for upholding a proactive and cooperative approach to work collectively with other departments to satisfy customers and increase sales.
- Follows GMP and SQF requirements through the company’s quality management system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the company’s sales and profit through logistical activities.
- Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements through the company’s quality management system.
- Follows all established Logistics’ Departments methods and procedures.
- Primary Job Responsibility
- Supervision, participation, coordination and reporting of Inventory Control activities.
- Receiving
- Storage
- Shipping
- Storage sanitation
- Production support
- Quality Management System support
- Maintains and improves Logistics activities.
- Facilitates positive communication with Logistics Team staff and Manager.
- Submits call report to the supervisor within 48 hours after returning to the office from business trip or seminar.
- Promotes a cooperative and constructive atmosphere.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
- Provides guidance and direction to lower level or new employees within the company.
- Implements 5S Pillars within workplace.
- Understands our company history, business, and products.
Food Safety Reporting Responsibilities:
- Responsibility to report any and all food safety problems or concerns to the proper personnel, authorized to initiate action.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervising shipping, receiving, storage and staff.
- Develop and maintain an effective staff through selection, training and motivation.
- Provide guidance, direction and training to staff members as well as members of other teams through knowledge and experience.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
College Diploma preferred
Computer skills required.
Warehousing experience required.
Domestic and International shipping experience required.
Inventory Management experience required.
Supervisory experience required.
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) experience preferred. (not required)
INCO term knowledge preferred. (not required
