This Individual Contributor role resides within the Fab, Construction and New Build Logistics (FCL) team with Intel's Global Logistics Organization (GLO). GLO provides end to end logistics services for all Intel business units across the supply chain from factory to end customer logistics. GLO directly enables Intel’s IDM 2.0 strategy through its logistics assets placed in strategic locations across the globe.

This position, based in Intel's facility in Hillsboro, OR, will manage Logistics Operations across transportation, warehousing, Finished Goods order management for Intel's Foundry Services (IFS) Business Unit. To power Intel's ambitious growth in the foundry space, this position will design new logistics capabilities and manage IFS Logistics Operations for Test Chips, Finished Goods Warehousing and order management, customer support etc. Additionally this role will support the business unit and supply chain integration team with logistics capabilities including designing custom made solutions, network optimization, cost savings etc. This role will leverage Intel's global logistics service providers and supply chain teams to deliver world class logistics services to IFS.

Logistics Operations Managers position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the overall logistics of one or more categories and owns performance metrics to meet the operational needs of logistics function.
  • Monitors key metrics and implements best practices to ensure that all operational activities adhere to laws, guidelines, and Intel's standard requirements.
  • Reports progress against agreed schedule, scope, cost, and quality constraints to senior leaders on a regular basis. Manages suppliers for the storage or movement of inbound, interplant, and outbound material, equipment, and finished goods.
  • Monitors and benchmarks supplier services against the service level agreement.
  • Guides the suppliers to evolve their service levels in line with Intel requirements.
  • Gathers data on existing processes from partners, stakeholders, customers and analyzes it to discover areas of defects, inefficiencies, or escalations.
  • Tracks and resolves shipping, warehouse, and carrier shipping errors, as well as logistics exceptions.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to assure the most efficient delivery of products to customers. Utilizes analytical and advanced technology skills to develop logistics solutions that drive Intel's business execution optimally.
  • Builds solid relationships with cross functional teams and logistics service providers, ensuring smooth process flow and collaboration.
  • Manages critical escalations arising in the logistics network such that there is minimal impact on customer service.

As the Logistics Operations Manager based in Oregon, this job will be directly supporting the most cutting edge technologies in the semiconductor industry. This role will play a pivotal role in enabling Intel’s success in the newly formed Intel Foundry Services Business Unit. Qualifications


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, logistics, business domain, or related field of study.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in any supply chain function.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business / supply chain.
  • Prior logistics experience with a major semiconductor foundry organization
  • Prior experience in managing global logistics suppliers, network design, new product introductions
  • Conversant with International customs and trade regulations related to semi conductor cross border movement
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, Data Analytics
  • Significant industry knowledge of foundry, OSAT ecosystem and relevant industry logistics expertise

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
