This position requires travel to all US time zones. Candidates must reside and be authorized to work within the United States, to be considered for this position.


About the Role:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join our team as a Logistics Manager. This role plays a crucial part in overseeing the flow of products and orders both into our 3PLs (Third Party Logistics providers) and to our end customers, with a primary focus on minimizing delays. Additionally, the role involves maintaining optimal in-stock levels, enhancing inventory turnover, and balancing inventory loads to enhance delivery speed. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, capable of processing data from various sources to identify both tactical issues and opportunities for systemic process improvements. Moreover, they should feel comfortable holding partner organizations accountable for executing plans effectively. With a diverse skill set, you will lead a cross-section of initiatives within operations. This is a remote position that will require travel to partner locations. Holidays are peak times for our business and work may be required.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the management of timely inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Utilize a proactive approach to ensure smooth scheduling, booking, and receiving of purchase orders (POs).
  • Monitor inbound and outbound schedules and bookings, ensuring alignment with operational requirements.
  • Proactively identify and address any potential delays in shipments, taking necessary actions to mitigate disruptions and ensure on-time fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders across different sites to ensure timely receipt and fulfillment of POs.
  • Collaborate with 3PL partners to optimize container flow and minimize accessorial exposure, while also managing data integrations with partners to streamline processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound movements and related communications, including data integrations with partners.
  • Establish reporting mechanisms to detect non-compliance and initiate focused measures to prevent delays or unmet customer expectations.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years working in analytical roles with advanced spreadsheet skills and SQL experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, particularly in managing inbound container flows.
  • Strong understanding of container shipping processes, scheduling, and booking systems.
  • Thorough grasp of transportation strategies and good understanding of EDI/API transactions applicable to parcel, truckload, and less-than-truck modes of transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
