Job Description
HII Mission Technologies Division's Fighters and Advanced Aircraft and Bombers Team has an immediate opening for a senior-level Acquisition Logistics Management Analyst who is ready to make an immediate impact leading logistics planning and acquisition documentation activities for aircraft and propulsion system modifications and weapons integration programs on world-class Department of Defense/United States Air Force Fighter and Bomber Aircraft. The Senior Acquisition Logistics Management Analyst will directly support Weapons Integration and/or new capability modifications to the B-52 Bomber aircraft platform and/or Propulsion System (Aircraft Engine) modifications.
Essential Job Responsibilities
The essential job responsibilities of the Senior Acquisition Logistics Management Analyst include, but are not limited to:
- Performing logistics support activities in accordance with Chapter 7, PRODUCT SUPPORT, of AFI 63-101/20-101, INTEGRATED LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT, to include development and delivery of Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), LCSP Annexes, Material Fielding Plans, and Logistics Health Assessments through all phases or the Acquisition Lifecycle
- Providing Life Cycle Logistics expertise, as needed, and assisting Program Management in the development of other required acquisition program documents such as Systems Engineering Plans, Information Support Plans, Program Protection Plans, etc.
- Assisting in required program reporting such as Logistics Health Assessments, Monthly Acquisition Reports,
- Assisting in the review, comment, an acceptance of logistics-related deliverables from the equipment manufacturer
- Providing expert logistics inputs to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) including Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Systems Requirement Documents (SRDs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Government Furnished Property (GFP) Lists, and other RFP products as required
Minimum Qualifications
- 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience
- Experience as an Acquisition Logistics Manager in an Acquisition Program Office working aircraft/aircraft systems modifications and/or weapons integration onto aircraft
- Working knowledge of Air Force Instruction 63-101/21-101 and DoD 5000-series instructions for acquisitions programs
- Secret level security clearance
Preferred Requirements
- Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Life Cycle Logistics, Level 2 Certification
- APDP Program Management, Level 2 Certification
- TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Physical Requirements
Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
