AmeriLux Logistics is Hiring! We don't hire professional interviewers. We hire people.
We are looking for a hardworking, driven, team member to join our Logistics team. Someone who has the ability to work independently while supporting an overall team mentality. We jump for new ideas and are always thrilled about a shakeup of processes for the better!
Role Facts:
- Tracking loads is the focus of this role. This will ensure on-time pickup and delivery is done for each load moved.
- Working with the carriers on MacroPoint to ensure the app is working for each load moving.
- Appointment setting via email, web portals, or making outbound calls.
- Partnering with the customer/carrier teams to reschedule missed appointments
- Building and maintaining internal and external customer relationships
- Supporting other needs as requested such as authorizing accessorial charges, data entry, proof of delivery (POD) requests building loads, and updating websites.
What Really Excites Us:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows
- Ability to learn and use proprietary software
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of Transportation Industry helpful but not necessary
- Organizational skills; attention to detail, and multi-tasking
- Willingness to work in team environment
