Job Responsibilities

As the Logistic Coordinator, you are responsible from the beginning of the process to the end. Quoting, entering the orders into our TMW, building a manifest, dispatching the driver and following up until the POD is in the system and the order is ready for billing. To do this you are in constant communication with drivers as well as our customers. You will be responsible for dispatching deliveries, preplanning freight for return trips, prepare ACE Manifests in order to cross the border.

What you bring:

• Experience as a Dispatcher in the transportation field with knowledge of relevant regulations is required
• Experience is "hunting" freight through load Boards, supplier distribution emails, customer emails.
• Experience and knowledge of Canada and US shipping regulations and practices.
• Flatdeck and LTL shipping knowledge required
• This position requires an individual who is adaptable; self-motivated, results driven and a team player.
• Successful with building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• An expert at multi-tasking and effectively managing changing priorities.
• High level of detail in performing tasks.
• Proactive, able to identify early on any potential issues, and to implement solutions.
• Ability to work varying hours and be on call
• Experience in Truckmate, Microsoft Office, CBSA's ACE Portal and various Load Boards.
